My Son Holy Land
My Son is a World Heritage Site located 70km to the south of Danang. My Son is a complex of partially ruined Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and 14th century A.D. by the kings of the Champa Kingdom. My Son is now one of the foremost Hindu temple complexes in South East Asia.
Royal city of Hue
Hue is 100 km to the north of Danang and had been the imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty from 19th to 20th century. The whole city is colored and sparkled with many temples and pagodas in authentic Vietnamese traditional architecture. The city is also home to the largest and best preserved citadel in Vietnam where the royal family resided in the past. Hue is a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 1993.
